Hylas designs and builds nothing but quality yachts and every detail of this Hylas 54 RS will meet or exceed the expectations of any experienced yachtsman. Her hull deck and coachhouse are built using super strong solid Twaron (which is similar to Kevlar). She is the shoal draft centerboard version(push button controlled) and drawing 6 feet board up and 10 feet board down. Her rudder is protected by a full structural skeg. She has a 20000 lb solid lead keel andfore and aft watertight collision bulkheads. Her interior is exquisitly hand crafted teak. Her interior spaces saloon galley navigation console three cabins and two heads each with separate shower are all well thought out and functional. Herraised saloon design with three large fixed windows facing forward and two large fixed windows to port and starboard enables one tosee all around the deck and horizon. And in daylight the saloon galley and navigation areas are flooded with natural light.
